Summer Sanity Tips (for Those Who Are Over the Performative Joy Parade)
We are neck-deep into Summer & I know you’re pouring into everyone else while running on empty. Your body feels exhausted, your schedule is overrun, & your emotional bandwidth is down to fumes. The heat, the noise, the pressure to show up, smile, host, parent, plan, perform—it’s no wonder so many of us feel like we’re stretched to the max. Summer doesn't have to be a performance. Make Rest Part of the Routine, Not a Reward
Rest isn’t something you have to earn after burnout. It’s something you deserve before you hit the edge. Whether it’s ten minutes with your phone off, a full day with nothing scheduled, or a luxurious slow morning—make it non-negotiable. Rest is radical. Keep choosing it.
Protect Your Body
Your body isn’t a summer project. It doesn’t exist for commentary, comparison, or consumption. Protect her. Nourish her. Let her breathe. She’s
